I Recently Needed to Jump Start My Golf Fitness Program!

I hit a plateau a month or so ago with my workouts. I felt like I was in a little rut, not making the gains that I wanted with my goals.

I can remember the day, August 31st . I decided I needed to change things up a little with my workout routine, so I reset some of my targets and decided to lose a few unwanted pounds of blubber.

What a great week for the sports enthusiast.

I’ve been waiting for this week for a long time. Can you believe it. Both opening week for major league baseball and the Masters?

I think I’ve got to go out and buy a couple more TV’s to have around the house. But whose got time to watch all of it?

On to the tip for the week…..

The talk of winning the grand slam of golf always seems to start rolling around this time of year. As it is always said you can’t win the Grand Slam unless you slip on that Green Jacket come Sunday at Augusta.

To win the Grand Slam is quite an accomplishment in professional Golf. Tiger came close last year winning both the Masters and the British Open. Phil missed it by a total of five strokes in 2004. It seems it would be a miracle for someone to pull that off in a calendar year.

If anyone can, it seems Tiger is poised to do it.

It is interesting on Tour how many of the top players gear much of their playing schedule around the Majors. They put together a schedule that prepares them for each one of them. I know Phil tends to work parts of his schedule in this type of a format, and I imagine other players do as well.

BioForce Golf has used the prestigious title of the Grand Slam to help you with your golf fitness program. We have a series of exercises in our Your Body & Your Swing golf fitness manual titled the “Grand Slam Exercises”.

Now granted we have more comprehensive golf fitness programs available, but realize all these exercises in these more detailed programs revolve around the four physical pillars of the body.

The great part about the “Grand Slam Exercises” are if you pressed for time and need to get your golf fitness exercises in for the day.

Performing these four exercises will get the job done.

Now long term the more comprehensive Amateur, Q School, and Tour Card Programs will give you greater benefit.

But if you are strapped for time and want to keep your golf fitness program moving forward, the “Grand Slam Exercises” are a great way to do it.
