Can Golf
Fitness Get Me in Mid-Summer Shape and Improve My
Golf Game?
If you haven’t heard
from us in a while, my apologies. We’ve really been
struggling with our email system and have been
“getting our website in shape” too!
A sort of cyber golf
fitness….thank you Aaron and Rob, my friends at
transmutationsciences.com for all your hard
work.
We’d love to get your
feedback on our new site. This is just the first
phase of the “website conditioning” program we’re
on. Looking for those six-pack web pages for the
site soon.
Back to the question
at hand.
If you ask 100
different people this question, you’ll probably get
100 different answers. Ask 100 different golf
fitness trainers, you’ll get the same results.
The question really
is can you workout, get in better shape, loose a few
pounds, look better in a swimsuit, feel better, and
improve your golf game?
Absolutely!
How do you go about
doing it is the key. We know how from our articles,
tips, and information in our manual YOUR BODY & YOUR
SWING.
You must develop
FLEXIBILITY, BALANCE, ENDURANCE, STRENGTH, and POWER
specific to the golf swing.
The key to improving
your golf game is developing these aspects of your
body physically. Now, if you want to get that
“six-pack” in addition, there is no reason you can’t
have it!
All you have to do is
make sure you are doing the exercises for you golf
swing like the Russian Twists and Airplane
Rotations, and on top of that you can add whatever
you like.
(Not to mention
watching the food intake….)
For example, if I
went through my entire YOUR BODY & YOUR SWING Tour
Card program and felt as though I wanted to do more
exercises, go right ahead!
It is not going to
hurt you, if and only if you keep your golf training
program in the mix. People get off track when they
ignore what is needed for the swing.
For example, if you
go to the gym, plop yourself down on the bench
press. Crank out 10 sets and move over to shoulder
presses, and crank out another 10 sets. Go home
drink 3 protein shakes and sit on the couch.
$%@# yes, this is
going to hurt your golf game! Why? Because you left
out your flexibility, balance, and core training.
Remember, we must
train the body for the swing. We must develop the
flexibility, balance, strength, endurance, and power
required of the swing.
This is done through
golf specific exercises. This is the foundation of
your training program to improve your swing.
You can add exercises
on top of such a program, within reason, but keep in
mind what you need to develop within the body for
the swing.
For those of you who
already own our Your Body & Your Swing program or
the One-Up Advanced Golf Fitness System, look for an
announcement soon on our new Companion Manual for
each of these products.
Keep training like a
champion today!
